Dr. Martin received his Honors B.Sc. and M.D. degrees from University of Western Ontario in 1972 and 1976. He also received his certification in the College of Family Practice (CCFP) in 1983.
During that time, Dr. Martin lectured at the University of Toronto while practicing family medicine in Midland, Ontario. He then returned to the University of Western Ontario to complete specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1993 followed by a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in 1995. He then joined as a staff consultant in Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology at London Health Sciences Centre. Dr. Martin also has additional training in |
andrology (male infertility), laser surgery, microsurgery, minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy and hysteroscopy) and ultrasound.
During his career, Dr. Martin has received 12 awards for academic performance, teaching and research. He has published 17 scientific papers, and presented more than 60 abstracts and presentations at scientific meetings and in the community for continuing medical education.
Dr. Martin operates the SOFT clinic in London, Ontario and has been associated with ISIS since 2004. |
