Dr. Mathias Gysler (Medical Director)

Dr. Gysler received his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario with fellowship training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto in 1973. Following subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Southern California (San Diego), he became a full-time staff member at the University of Toronto Obstetrics and Gynecology Department from 1980 to 1987.
Dr. Gysler became actively involved in IVF in 1983 and upon leaving the University in 1987, he joined a Community Practice in Mississauga. He is the founding member of the ISIS Regional Fertility Centre and is the |
Medical Director. He has continued his active involvement in IVF with a number of Toronto clinics and maintains a Gynaecology Practice which is largely oriented toward infertility.
Dr. Gysler is currently the Chief of Staff at The Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, Ontario and is very involved with the development of legislature regarding infertility in Canada. His special interests outside of medicine are his family and his many dogs. |
