When ISIS patients become pregnant, we will provide early pregnancy care. This eases the transition to your obstetrician.

During this period of time, we will order the appropriate laboratory and ultrasound tests. We will also advise our patients of their nutritional needs and their options of genetic testing (e.g. Integrated Prenatal Screen, Amniocentesis and Maternal Serum Screen). If necessary, consultation with a geneticist or a high-risk pregnancy specialist will be made.

For those patients who do not have their own obstetrical caregivers, we will facilitate a referral for them or assist them to find an obstetrical caregiver in their home region.
